I just got a 78 luv. I have a shop manual and am waiting on delivery of a Haynes.
The manual only talks about a hydrolic clutch but mine is a cable. So, whats up with that?? :? Ron

your manual is probly for a 77then. 78 was when they whent to a cable clutch. The haynes will have info on both clutch setups though.

Thanks. I figured there was a break , just didn't know which year they did it.
I'll look closer at the manual I have. I didn't notice a year on it , but that doesn't mean much. :lol:

my 73 luv has a mechanical clutch, not cable or hydralic
