I didn't have much trouble when I did mine, but you can bench bleed it before you put it on. If not you may be pumping a long time to get the air out of everything pushing it through the wheel cylinders. Usually the replacement master cylinder will come with a set of instructions for bench bleeding it. I think it boils down to just clear out all the old fluid in the system and all the air in the lines when you are done. The rest is just bolting stuff on. After you are done, expect to spend a lot of time cleaning up brake fluid on the inner fender and frame right below there. If you get any on paint you want to keep, clean it off right away. That stuff strips paint quite fast.
