I was checking out my jcw catalog last night and I came across a dually conversion kit, for around $700 plus a set of tires, anyone can convert a small pickup (i.e. a CHevy LUV) into a dually. I've never seen anything like it, anybody out there got a dually luv?

I've seen 1 dually and another I don't know what to call?? It had 4 wheels in back, but it had separate wheel wells for each. So you could actually see all four wheels in back. Looked like too much work for something that looked silly.

Wasn't there a luv tow-truck on ebay awhile back that was a dually?

thats called a tandem conversion, used to be the hot ish back in the mid 80's-early 90's in the mini truckin scene. kinda ghey now....

I have seen a couple of older luvs and older toyota duallys runnin around out here in Portland...never much cared for the look, although I know the kit was designed for function and not looks.

if it doesn't convert the axle to full-floating, it's useless. never liked duallies anyway. there's a bunch of people around here that drive 1 ton lowered chevies...i think they're stupid looking

I seen a "dually" S10 once upon a time. It was sitting outside the 7-11. The guy had a 350 in it, pretty tricked out. Somehow he stuck the "hips" off a Ford pickup onto it. Looked pretty damn sweet I might add. Especially the 20" wide meats under the back 8)

Thanks!! Bought it to tow the LUV, but after a couple years of 8 mpg, had to get something a little more fuel efficient!! So now I have a 4X4 suburban that gets 12 MPG and now with gas at $2.00 a gallon, I dont know what the hell I was thinking! 8O Miss the ole 454 though!!!
