i had the series 40 on my luv and i hated it. i think i lost alot of torque having it on there too :(
it wasn't loud at all, you had to be behind the truck just to hear it. i only had it on there for about a week and ripped it off and put my cherry bomb back on.
your's might sound a little better since you got a header to go with it..

you may want to put both mufflers on it.

i thought about dual exhaust but i dont know bout that
i also bought that header wrap stuff that will help out
next step is the ignition i might keep the points and buy msd 6al
cause a new electronic dist. is like 350.00 8O even though i hate points
any ways thats a different subject

well i ll see how it turns out and if it does not sound good then too bad
this lady tried to sell me this chromed fart muffler with a 4" tip on it
its too bad you cant get a v8 sound out of a lil 4 cylinder

no I meant put both mufflers in line.
that might muffle it enough to where it doesn't sound bad.

Buy a Dynomax superturbo.
Cheap and have various sizes . Not to loud
Otherwise get a 2 or 3 chamber turbo.

You dont want a loud car knowing youhave nothing to back it up.
Yes like them Honda kids who put a big can on there. The day before it was the size of the pipe was a straw.

That Bee in a can sound!!!

alright its done :D and its sounds good the thing i like about it is that its not annoying loud sounding

to tell you the truth i dont notice anything far as power increase maybe a lil its bout the same or lil bit more

altogether it cost me bout 250 dollars for header, (1) flowmaster, 2" pipe, and a guy to put the bends in it and weld it up

i said no way i am putting this together cause i had to go under a crossmember then it crosses over to passanger side over a crossmember then over the rear axle thats a lot to bend i got it installed for 45 dollars not bad

well now i am not goin with a turbo charger but their is always supercharging which i am gonna check into

by the way if i do put my dual carbs on it will my exhaust sound louder cause more air is being fed into the engine :?:

i ll take some pics here shortly so keep a look out

it keeps the exhaust heat away from the engine.
