PS would like to find a clear title and VIN tag for this long out of date unregistered truck I purchased.

good luck finding a tag and title....it's illegal as hell to alter or replace the vin tag.

a title search and lien sale only takes two weeks and costs about 10-30 dollars depending on how much an ad in your local paper cost.

No thats only if you remove/destroy the original VIN plate. Even then all you have to do is get in line at the crap DMV and tell the old lady you need a new VIN stamped, fill the form, someone looks at it and then bolts a new plate on.

Title you might as well forget.
