My right front torsion bar is snapped mostly inside the crossmember. How does one go about removing the torsion bar?

there is a nut on the front of the torsion bar.
you should be able to remove it from the front.
or do like I did....use a torch. :D

The torsion bar does not disconnect in the rear, but slides out of the splines? Thanks.

yeah, mine had a splined end that went into the lower control arm, the opposite end was the lever system and it just unbolted as far as I can remember.

just cut sick at it, undo any bolts attached to it, there isnt many
