has anybody installed a copper head gasket shim on the 1.8 isuzu? if so what is the procedure step by step? the package says to use gasket sealant so i was wonddering if anyone knew the sequence( does the shim go on first, then sealant, then the actuall gasket?) please help.

personally i just bought a head gasket and it said to not use sealent
