i picked up a '77 LUV 2 wheel drive with auto transmission & am having a hard time getting it to start...i have no power to the coil....so i am not getting any spark.....searching for the problem i discovered the block that holds the fuses had a problem.........it got hot at one time. I am looking for anyone who might have a fuse block that they are willing to part with ....any help on this would be great.......

I have one from a 1979 LUV. If it is the same one, you can have it as soon as I find it.

77 fuseblock is different from 78 and newer. The 77s had the four fuses for the headlights, one for each light, and the newer block does not have those nor even room for them. You could count the number of fuses and compare notes to see the problem.

A couple of people here have really raved about converting to a blade style fuseblock. You may want to take that route, find a generic blade style fuseblock with enough spaces and wire everything into it instead. Those glass tube style fuses are a pain to troubleshoot and less reliable. I've had my headlights shut down more than once (usually in the middle of sliding sideways around a corner on some old logging road) because a glass fuse decided to get flaky on me.
