Im curious where to find a good deal on a rebuild kit for the 32/36 dgev and to find info on it such as maybe a complete diagram which usually comes with most rebuild kits but apparently not with the weber rebuild kits. Does this one work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... gory=33551

I have never needed to rebuild a Weber DGV. I bought mine pretty much used. Just dont bend the floats and keep clean(if outside gas tank)
I have ordered new gaskets but that is it. these are great simple carbs. But just keep them clean. Esp the idle jet on the side. If have no idle(but runs using the acelarator pump) then its plugged up. Blow out with air and change gas filters at least once a year. My datsun521 fills the filter up with RUST.

also I believe they have the elctric to manual conversion for these.
I persoanlly dont use a choke(not working)

The DGeVs seems hard to adjust the electric choke once played with.

hey does anyone know where to get the tiny little metallic filter that fits inside the carb? Or does everyone forget about usin that and just use an in line filter?
