So im lookin for something to quiet down my ride...its freakin loud inside my cab! Looks like i have a pacesetter muffler...they should call it an exhaust sound amplifier or something cuz its not muffling anything. Has anybody used this material? http://www.b-quiet.com/extreme.html Looking for ideas on insulation/sound deaders for good price. What has everyone else used?

Most of your noise is either comeing from your floor board's or from around your door's.I just put heat shield and sound deadener in my vette. Go to Lowel's or a home depo, and go the the insulation section. There you will find a hot water heater wrap. It's like about 8 feet long, and about 4 feet high. (in a roll). It look's kind of like one of those space blanket's. Shinney silver. Just double face tape it to your interior's floorboard's,and then lay your carpet over it. You will be amazed at how quiet it will make your truck's interior. The weather stripping for your door's, well i remember a while back that someone found a good replacement for that, on this site. Just ca'nt remember who !Hope that help's.
