UPDATE :VALVE COVER AND SOLINOID FIXED
get this, solinoid=$57.85 starter and solinoid kit=$42.50 what gives?

it seems that every time my yellow baby starts to run well something breaks , the newest problem is the unavailibility of the heater control valve. I put a fan through the radiator, then i cant find a new radiator, spent 50 bucks on a solderable(2 pinholes and the lower neck) one and now every valve and connection in the cooling system wants to spring a leak.go figure. if this thing is going to stay in the family I need a new lower end soon, the closest machine shop to me is about 150 miles away.

Is there a kit avalible that has a new parts from the pistons to the crank? a slightly higher volume oil pump would really help in the end too .

WANTED:Heater control valve (the weather is getting warmer)

yeah any parts connections would be greatly appreciated

The heater control valve is the valve thats cuts off the coolant flow to the heater core right? If so then it doesn't need to be luv specific, it just need to fit the coolant line. I would take it off and go to a parts store and check under several different vehicles until you find the right size. The prolly even have one in the Help! parts section.

GOT LUV?

MEPR,

Do you have where the back up lights are connected? That is the only thing (the seats and the windshield) and she is ready for the road. Need the BU lights in order to get her to pass inspection, which don't run out until next month.

Dunno how that werked.
