I replaced the clutch on my 75 a week ago and it engages right off the floor, I can’t seem to get it adjusted and my Hanes manual is less than helpful on the clutch adjustment. It talks about a 5/64 in. clearance but doesn’t say clearance to what? Please can anybody help with this? It is my only transportation right now.

75 should have a hydraulic clutch....

on the slave cylinder on the bottom, there's a nut on either side. Get underneath and turn the adjusting nut one way or the other (sorry I can't remember which way) Trial and error. Just adjust it to your liking. Just make sure it doesn't engage to close to the top.
