yea the only cam i ever found was for a gemini and the cam place was in austrailia (crow cams). i did some research and found out the gemini has a g180 which is the same as the g180 in the luvs. it was gonna cost me like $300 or $400, so when i'm ready for a cam i think i'll get mine reground. but for anyone interested in the crow cam website here it is http://www.crowcams.com.au/templates/Ca ... -OHC.shtml

i wonder if lynx offers a manifld for a single weber?

i didn't think you could turbo charge with a carb. i thought you had to have fuel injection.

Turbo charging was invented for airplane high flying gas engines during World War Two. Those engines had carburetors on them. I know, cuz I worked on them when I first joined the Air Force. I bet old race car engines had turbocharging, too.

i guess what i was thinking is a carb wouldn't hold up to turbocharger pressure, looks like it might have some problems? like the fuel bowl vents on top of the carb, wouldn't that end up sending pressure through the fuel lines? could it be possible that a special carb is needed for turbochargers?

Blow through type carburetors need to have crush resistant floats (usually plastic as opposed to hollow brass) as the added pressure can colapse them.

Excuse me, I ask a question on this board and get told "Do a search and you'll find it posted/answered already" then when you find it and make a comment you get ridiculed?

Nice

If you guys think a thread should be killed after some period of time maybe you should lock them so no future posts can be made? Otherwise, blow it out your fart can...

Easy there killer its just funny that somebody brought up a 7 year old post. If they stopped making them 7 years ago I seriously doubt they would be making them now.

Just my $.02

Actually they still make the blow through carbs and turbo kits for these. They also have a dohc that goes on the g180. Things are really crazy over there. People are pulling low 8s in a quarter with these little 4cylinders.

Well since it lives again... I will also point out that turbogemini does turbo kits, efi kits, turbo carb kits etc etc.. There is much more development done on the Isuzu G series engines over in Australia
