Well i have encountered a wonderfull sound. I was out four wheeling today whith my brother. I got perty wild had one rear tire up in the air perty good (i have pics and video if anyone whants host them ). But on the way home i crawled through a nice deep mud hole, watter was coming into the cab through the door seels and such. But i had my luv parked at my bros apt. and its realy cold out now (frost all over it). When i whent to pull out of the parking lot i heard a pop followed by a constant low volume squeel. Could this just be frozen watter somewhere. My transmision skid plate was drug through the snow perty good once. Could it be that some of that snow froze to the drive shaft? Just looking for possible things to look at tomarow in the shop...

I think it is your keneuter valve in the kramer beeker.

mud can do mysterious things when they get into crevasses.....clean that thing out good! bring it down south so it'll thaw out. hehe

well, it may sound stupid, but it might be your carbeurator gasket. i just had thi sproblem, the loud pop could have been a backfire through the carb, blowing out the gasket. then, it starts whistling because it is sucking in air right at the hole. it may not be it, but it is entirly possible.

well right offhand i don't know what that would be. was it still running good? did it feel any different? i'm sure you'll find something tommarow. hopefully it is the brakes or somethin frozen.

well i had the carb come loose on me last year (jumped the truck a good foot in the air and broke a mounting screw for my webber adapeter plate) and it was still running just fine lastnight. But i found the problem, i just kinda hopped in the truck today to run some erands and there wasnt any sound. So it was just frozen brakes, oh well im still going to check things out. Last thing i need happening is a third member going out becouse it had watter in the diff. and i was too lazy to check it

well thats good news, i agree on checking the diff fluid. you never know you might have some water. check the tranny too since water was coming in the doors. my friend bought a jeep and the tranny went out cause the guy before had gotten water in the tranny and didn't drain it.

well i checked the rear diff and its clean. Since thats the lowest point on the truck i figure everything else should be clean.
