does anybody know where to find rebuild parts for a 79 4x4 luv tranny? Synchros bearings etc etc

On the first page I linked to, you have to go down to Chevrolet trucks, then the second vehicle listed is the chevy luv.

Then what is this?

Here is an exerpt from the first paragraph:
The Isuzu transmission that is rear wheel drive (RWD) is covered in this section. Typically used in Chevy S10, Luv, Isuzu and Pup's requiring 4 speed applications.

The very first kit is for a 76-82 4x4 chevy luv. Here is the info.

There are alot of folks looking for front/rear diff parts. When/if you find any, post it up. I am also looking.

WIll this kit have every thing to rebuild my tranny? I have never done a tranny before but I am pretty camable?

It said complete rebuild kit. As far as being capable, I guess if you have a good working knowledge of machines, then you whould be able to tackle something like this as long as you follow the manual. I think there are a few special tools you need to either rent or make. They are in the luv manual. Stuff like bearing and seal pullers.
