Hi luvtruck -ers,

I have a 1979 Chevy Luv that is not getting any spark at the plug. It had a pertronix ignitor which wasn't working, and I bought a new distributor with points and condenser, and installed the new distributor, but am still not getting spark.

There are two wires coming from the wiring harness near/below the distributor that are not hooked up to anything (see photo)

I tried running a lead from the terminal on the distributor to the [-] on the coil but that did not trigger any spark.

If anybody can help me with the stock configuration of the distributor terminal wire, i would really appreciate it! I have four different manuals including the factory chevy manual and I can see there is (was) a wire that goes to the distributor.
