I am rebuilding my G180, and deleting some emissions systems. I thought I’d share this technique with those who are finding trouble plugging the air injection holes in the head. Being that the holes are an M14x1.25, finding a bolt to plug it is difficult. So I just cut off the plugs, and used an impact to pound a 3/8x16 bolt into the middle of the plug. It had the same 14mm head, and I didn’t even tap it. Maybe not the most airtight, but an easy fix nonetheless.

Have you had the opportunity to do a compression check yet?
