My truck won't shift into any gear one through four. And I can feel something scratching when I try to shift into reverse I just change the transmission fluid. Any ideas to help narrow it down

Sounds like a manual with the clutch not disengaging.

If it’s a hydraulic clutch, check the fluid in the reservoir. Could be the master or slave cylinder leaking. It takes regular brake fluid.

If it’s a cable clutch, watch the cable under the hood and verify it’s moving while someone presses the clutch.

If those check out, I’d suspect the throwout arm.
