Is anyone running a weber on their stock LUV? How do you like it? Was it hard to swap? I'm in the market for a new Hitachi for my '77 but maybe a weber is the better solution. Does their air cleaner fit under the hood? Thanks for the replies. Don

I have seen the Weber carb for about $300 new. they seem easy to put on. there are some videos on YouTube showing install. They are easier than the Hitachi to work on. I would be interested in the old HItachi if you go with the Weber. Dale (they do fit under the hood)

I installed a Weber several years ago. No problem with the fit for both the intake and hood. It's still going strong.
