Can anyone provide me some hints on how to remove the door glass and the wing on a 76 Luv? I've got all screws out, the regulator and all side glass lower trim also. I'm at the point were the wing has to be removed to take out the door window. I want to save as much of the rubber around the wing I can.

Thanks

Hmmmm I am trying to remember I know there is on screw below the window crank for the wing window and then the two on the door I think like half way up the wing window those should be the only screws holding the wing window in.
If I am not mistaken I think I had to pull the guts out for the window to drop down and then I had to just kinda work the wing window around a bit to get it loosened up, then you drop it down and then pull it back towards the door handle and then pull it back up and then I think you have to twist it a little  sorry I am trying to remember this all from memory since it has been a while since I replaced my wing windows.
It shouldnt hurt any of the rubber at all when you do pull them. I know that I didnt mess up any of my rubber when I pulled mine..... and I was pretty rough on it when I did pull them !!!!
Well any other help that I can remember or any other questions feel free to ask.
Later
Husker

Thanks Husker,

I have sometime to work on it tomorrow, I'll give it a try. I'm doing a frame off restoration on a 76' Luv. I swapped the 4 banger drive train with a Buick V-6, Turbo 400, and Ford 8" rear end. That's all done now I'm going for the Cab then the stepside bed. This I will have to be careful, not to beat up the rubder, it could get expensive if I do. Anyway thanks for the advise.
