I just pulled the exhaust off of my 1.8l yesterday and found a gaping hole in the side of the block. Does anyone know where I can get a block on the cheap? I cant put alot of money into this truck. From what I've read the 1.8, 1.9, and 2.0 are interchangeable. Any help with the parts search would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Minden Nevada but spend half my time in Nampa, Idaho with my son.

I'm in northeast Nebraska and have one I pulled out of a 78 LUV, thought maybe I could help you out. Thinking you should be able to find something closer. Good luck with your project!

Post this on the Chevy LUV group on Face Book also. You're lucky to have two locations to find one. ID might be better than NV. It seems more LUVs are up there. Good luck. They're out there. It just might take a little time to find one, but there are plenty out there.
