Hi I have a 79 with ac removed. It runs good and doesn’t overheat. But when I drove to downtown LA it was running warm and I’d like to stay there. Warm. So I want to know if a 75 shroud will need lots of modding and how bad? Thanks for any heads up.

Ten or so years ago I tried a early fan shroud on a 78 engine, it was way off center and wasn’t close to working.

A '75 used a G180 engine, a '79 a completely different G180Z engine. I would be very surprised if they used the same fan shroud.
Also a '79/'80 w/AC uses a different should than say a '78 wo/AC- it's noticeably wider along with a matching larger radiator.
Your best bet would be a shroud to match your radiator size, I think '84 & '85 Troopers, '84-'87 Isuzu pickups with the G200Z 1.9L engine have the wider shroud & will fit the larger radiator, at least with minimal modification.
