Has any one made the adapter themselves or put out any plans for them? Thanks

Probably not, just not cost effective.
The entire adapter kit is about $60, includes two plates, three gaskets, some studs & some socket-head screws. By the time you machined the plates & sourced all the exact correct parts & materials you would likely approach the retail cost of the kit.

I scored a carb, carb kit, and new one piece spacer for $90! I have a good buddy with a vw shop and in that aspect the 32/36 is not desirable due to being on a vw. I have to make some permanent cable mounts and such. But it runs great! Can a Datsun manifold be modified to fit using a plate to adapt?
