My lower driver's side door hinge had a pin break and it also bent the arm that that connects to the pin (see picture). Both parts of the hings already had a lot of play in them. I posted in the classifieds section to buy another one. I know the drivers side gets more use, so it will be hard to find one in good shape. What about having the existing one repaired? I may be able to get some of the pins from a passenger side hinge. Will this help, or will it still be a loose fit? What it be better long term to go to a machine shop? Thanks in advance.

Without going out and looking at my truck, I think one of the hinges works on the other side when flipped over. Just can't remember which one, top or bottom.

The top ones you can flip, but the bottoms you can't. Looking into getting them rebuilt though. :D
