Having a very hard time finding new front discs for my 77 luv. I keep stumbling across conversions in searching that early Isuzu trooper rotors will fit but nothing conclusive except for 4x4 trucks.

Can anyone confirm that early (1985) trooper rotors will work? It looks like the overall depth is 1mm difference not sure if thats enough to cause issues on a floating caliper.

Sorry if this has been answered before just couldnt seem to find the information for a 2wd truck.

Have you tried NAPA or Autozone? I find them on their apps. They will probably have to order them, but they can get them.

I tried both sites they allow you to add them but as soon as you go to pay it states they are not available at this time.

Go in to the stores. My local Napa orders stuff all the time for me. Their app might not be able to fulfil an order request. A search on ebay and amazon is also a good idea. I just searched "Chevy Luv Rotor" and came up with quite a few hits on ebay.

Cosworth:: I'm having the same problem. I'm a repair shop and I've tried my 7 local parts houses, google search on 7 different brands of part numbers and just standard google search of LUV rotors. No inventory available ANYWHERE, but there are are part numbers listed in just about every brand. 4x4 models are available just about everywhere, but RWD, nothing... anywhere... 8O 8O

Jason_Dean :: I've been in the parts biz for nearly 30 years and have never had this much trouble locating LUV parts, and as I stated, I've tried everywhere and then some, including actually calling all of these places.

Does anyone else have any source to these???? :?: :?: :?:

Thanks!!

I just put 1985 trooper rotors on my luv last weekend. They bolt right up no problem. Ive driven approximately 50 miles with no issues so I'd say they're good to go.

I bought mine from rockauto.com CENTRIC 12143005

The overall rotor depth is only .1mm different between the two and the Isuzu rotor is wayyy lighter.

These are brake parts so take all of this info with a grain of salt I suppose, its working great for me at this time.

I have seen others running the trooper rotor as well, as a benefit they are vented vs the solid LUV rotor
