Last two days the GEN light has come on for around three minutes after the first ignition of the day. The first day I examined the engine and did not notice anything out of place. I fired it up two more times and the light went out.
The next day (today), I fired it up, GEN light came on and I just let it warm up. After three minutes I revved the engine and it went out.
Yesterday it didn't come back on the rest of the day, and I have not started anymore times yet. Any ideas?

UPDATE: After work, I started the motor and no light came on. Drove home.

Maybe pop the top off the voltage regulator and check for moisture intrusion?

Could also be corrosion under a battery clamp, or corrosion under a ground wire. I would pull all your grounds, clean them up with a wire brush and reinstall with a little dielectric grease. It's also never a bad idea to clean up your battery connections.
