Yesterday at a car show, I got introduced to an oxygen sensor system to be used on carbureted engines. The guy had a permanent mounted gauge in the cab and an o2 sensor in the exhaust header on a Model A Ford. He said he was able 'dial in' the proper carb setting [rich vs. lean] for the engine and was able to maintain the correct setting permanently via carb adjusting and jetting. Does anyone have one of these systems on their vehicle? I'm curious to know how you like it.

Wideband o2 sensor system. They can be bought for about $200 with gauge from and many other places
If you want precise tuning there really is no better tool
And you can monitor air/fuel ratio any time to diagnose poor running conditions
