i was driving the two other nights ago and i hear a loud popping backfire noise so i pull over and a pipe plug fell out of the engine head where emissions crap used to be and i had to find somethin to stop the noise i found a bolt too small but put ducktape over and it melted it on so i was good to go till i put another pipe plug in it lol

haha, thats perty funny. I was driving to school one day and the pipe that hooks into the exsaust manifold blew out. Man it was so freakin loud, back fired like mad. But the funny part, push in the clutch and the motor is dead silent, it was wierd :lol:

My favorite has been the crack in the hose that causes it to whet the whole engine compartment.

I had a 77 that had refitted hoses on it and the silly who owned it notched out the fan blade so it would not hit the hose. But a piece of plastic from where he notched it got loose and put a hole in the hose, so it spewed the radiator fluid and the engine died cause it drowned slowly but surely.

A patch of duck tape and half a dictionary of cuss words later fixed the problem.

And a new hose.
