:?:

Just wondering if there was anyone on here with an 81 body style luv that has a solid back window and wished they had a slider? I have a slider and want to ditch it for a solid back....thing is every luv/pup I see on the roads has a slider. I have only seen one solid and that was on a extended cab 87 pup in the scrap yard.

anyone interested in a trade?

:? Hmm thats odd, all I have ever seen is solid back windows. I got a solid back in my 81...but i don't want to trade it for a sliding one with the potential to leak.....

My truck has the solid back, but I never liked the sliders, because they leak.

I'm not 100% but I thought that a S10 back window was the same as our 81 and up LUV trucks. It would be worth a look.

good call fitz, I look into the s-series window. I have a solid back window out of some fullsize truck, so it needs to be cut down so i was looking for an easy way out...

The slider in my truck does not leak.... and we get a TON of rain here in Portland. I'm sure many do but mine is tight, I just want a solid back window so I can display my club logo without the stupid slider in the way.

All the ones i have expeirenced have leaked or never sealed right, so thats why i like ot avoid them if at all possible. Heck i never would use it anyways.

 ...Stereo...i like that! But i think i figured it out!! When i post a topic and hit "Post" it posts it and gives you the option to "check you post" or "return to forum" or somehting along those lines. Well i usually just hit the back button, and forget that it takes me back to the post topic page! DOH!!! So then i hit the forward button to take me back to the option page and it posts another one of the same posts!! So thats why i sometimes got two posts! But im getting better about it...damn memory anyways...who knew it could be this bad by age 18....

The sliders are OK if you keep the seals from cracking/becoming brittle. But I am sticking with my solid. I can find one or two sliders in the bone yard I think.
