While my blue truck is down, I bought another 79 for 800 bucks running and driving that I just couldn't pass up. Along with the electrical issues, I have no dash lights, either on the cluster or the blower switches. Also, the fan speed only works on high. With my other trucks, the fan stays on all the time regardless if the engine is running or not, and the fan cuts out when the engine is shut off but the key still being on. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What happens when you move the dimmer part of your light switch?I had a switch where the dash lights/blower lights would only work when the dimmer was turned to max, if you backed off on the switch just a little the lights would go off.
Even though it's not easy, 'd also check for any wires have breaks on the insulation.

It's time consuming, but I'd trace the wires that go to the lights. You could start at the switch. I believe one of the wires goes to the back of instrument panel. Star with that one. I think the wires that light up the heater/air control run behind the ash tray. I'd trace the wiring from behind the heater/air control that runs back to toward the instrument panel.
