Was driving home in my Luv cruising at 65 on the Highway on a uphill section the truck started to buck and lose power with missing. no pops or anything Down shifted and with the higher rpm it got worse. pulled over and idles fine if i rev it in neutral it revs fine no missing of anything. Popped the hood and found the top of the valve cover completely covered with oil. just changed the oil Saturday dip stick says half court low. cleaned up limpped it home. if level or left sitting for a few mins it drives fine after a few mins now i start getting the misses and hesitation in the upper RPM's got home and valve cover once again covered in oil.

went through a quart of oil in 3 hours out the top of the valve cover. when i got off the Highway changed fuel filter and air filter to check if it was a clogging issue but no luck.

Any Idea's or anyone experience the same issue??

I would guess you have a head gasket issue and you are getting compression pressure into the oil passages. That would explain the oil getting pushed around where it doesn't belong. Luvs are know for head gasket issues.

Head gasket maybe, but first check the easy stuff. Check the engine PVC system. A small rubber hose from the side of the valve cover to the base of the carb, draws crankcase vapors/blowby into the manifold for burning. Make sure it is working and not clogged.
The hesitation at high rpm sounds like fuel starvation. Fuel filter, including the one inside the end of the fuel pump (if you still have the stock fuel pump.)

I had similar symptoms minus the oil covered valve cover and it was my timing.

Update:

Oil issue is fixed, replaced valve cover gasket and oil plug. while i was in there and rand a wire down the galleys to ensure no blockage. now just the fueling issue,. checked timing again sitting around 8-10 BTDC and advance is working

Brand new. Did full tune up on it, used dwell meter to set gap. it was running tops it just all of a sudden started missing while cruising at 65mph. it still drives runs great for a few mins and once i encounter a load like a incline its starts to miss a lil and the longer the hill or load the longer and more frequent the hesistation. if i clutch it the engine idles and revs fine. after awhile of missing it will have slight miss going down hill but goes away pretty quick till the next hill

This issue sounds like a fueling issue to me. maybe too much fuel, misadjusted float, or jetting might be off
