 Post subject: pinto carb?

i took my engine parts up to work today. i think i will have it bored, then i wil hone it, then i will have the head surfaced, block sufaced, cam grouned, valve job, etc.

i got a two barrel holley for a 140 cube pinto today, will it fit? if not i can make a adapter plate in metal shop. it has a mecanicle secondarie,i hope it can flow some fuel. please tell me if you know anything about this.

it should work, a carb is a carb. As long as you can get an adapter plate made for it it should work. If its anything like my 500cfm holley that will be no small task though. Get some pics of it made and take mesurements. If the barrels are too much broader than you hole in the intake i dont think you will gain anything as there will be too much terbulance in the intake.

Not familiar with the carb but along with MEPR's advice you might need to make a bracket for the linkage as well.
