I just bought a 19xapprox 19 1/2 in radiator that is for a scion xb. The radiator mounts are 18 3/4 in wide. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to make it fit without cutting up the mounts. I would like to be able to revert back to a stock rad if I want to

i cut mine out removed a strip of material and rewelded them with a wider opening. But you cant go back from that

As I said before, I would like to widen them both maybe 1/2 in. so that way I could be able to revert back to stock if I chose to do so. I was thinking about bending them out with a hammer but I don't know if it would widen the opening enough to slide the rad in.

The beauty of metal and welding is that nothing is irreversible.
