I definitely won't!! I am still undecided on the swap. I will most likely keep it stock, at least until I get a new daily driver!

Just a little update. Got the new speedo cable put on, didn't fix it. I think I'm gonna have to get a new speedometer. Ordered my weber rebuild kit. I'm going to give the rebuild a shot here pretty soon. Hopefully that will get it back running good. Also I just pulled he dash off and I'm thinking about making a little fiberglass project out of it!! I'll post pictures of what I've got going on.

Speedometer is checked like this: Attach the cable to the speedometer but leave loose the end that goes into the transmission. While looking at the speedometer spin with your fingers the loose cable end. If the needle moves speedometer is ok. If so then the nylon gear in the transmission is stripped or bad.

well I pulled the carb off last night and rebuilt it. After putting it all back on with two new fuel filters my truck won't start. It sounded like it wasn't getting any gas the the motor. The fuel pump comes on but is pretty noisy (idk if it was like that before). Any ideas??

Got the truck running great!! Turns out there was a screw missing on the underside of the carb. Put it back on and the truck runs like new. Next project will be the sun visors and the dash!
