Okay, I know this topic has been covered before, but I still want some tips to get a little more oomph from my LUV. SO far, I have done a few things to up the performance. I have done 2.25" exhaust with a glasspack, msd blaster 2 coil, msd ignition box, high output plug wires, and cone air filter. Any more ideas for power staying N/A?

G200 1.9L block.
Current 1.8 head with the 1.9 valves installed by machine shop. Mill .010 (1.8 head on 1.9 raises compression so don't deck it a lot)
offenhauser intake & Weber 32/36 or 38/38 if it will be seeing a lot of high rpm
OR get the rare offenhauser 4 barrel manifold and a holley 390... overkill but was an option at one point I saw one on eBay at one time.
OR Yamaha R1 sportbike individual carbs... has been done on here look up ctmandu's build, it had a megajolt programmable ignition... pretty awesome truck I would do that it isn't that complicated he included a ton of pics of the manifold.
Polish exhaust ports...
gasket match port the manifold ports...
Double valve springs....
Delta cam regrind...
Small shot of Nitrous Oxide for when all of that ^ isn't enough

Have you gotten a cam regrind? How much would that roughly cost?

"Current 1.8 head with the 1.9 valves installed by machine shop. Mill .010 (1.8 head on 1.9 raises compression so don't deck it a lot)"
Actually the pre-'80 1.8 head has a larger intake valve than the '80-on 1.8 and the 1.9 head(42.4mm vs 40.2mm, this is the same intake valve as the 2.3 engine), both 1.8 & 1.9 exhaust valves are 34mm.
Check with ozgemini, but I think you can fit the 2.3L 42.4/36.0 valves, maybe even the 2.6L 44.09/37.03 valves, the stem diameter & length are all the same if there's enough material to install the matching seats.
The 1.8 head/1.9 block combo gives about 9.5 compression ratio without milling, be careful you don't get the compression too high. And watch for piston clearance with oversized valves & a higher lift cam.
Delta charges I think $60 for the regrind, you will have to send them a cam, expect $15-$20 shipping each way. You'll need elephant foot adjusters or lash caps also.
Pacesetter has changed the header port design from square to round so you can't port match, but you can smooth the transition somewhat. Also the current collector diameter is 2.5", down from 3" from years ago.

I have a 1.9L with 30k miles, headers, offy intake, weber, MSD coil, a 5 spd, probably other stuff, and my truck is still insanely slow. So, stop wasting your money. If you want something fast, get a turbo kit or buy something else. Performance parts aren't worth it unless you are replacing worn out parts.

Agreed, best power adder available is the turbogemini turbo kit. There are several available. Carb and efi. They are from Australia so shipping is expensive but it would be the only significant increase without an engine swap. Check out ozgemini.com they are the most versed on high power g series engines

if you are 2wd you can swap various 4 cylinders with their transmission if you are a decent fabricator. the nissan SR20 and KA24 come to mind.

Thanks for the replies. Along the turbocharging line, I do plan in the future to buy one of those kits, but in the meantime I don't have the funds to do so  But I have an idea about "an electric supercharger". But before I'm outcast and put in the fire, I'm not buying one of those eBay marine blower kits. I am going to use an actual turbo compressor and a brushless motor along with a high voltage battery pack (18-24V). Another idea was to use compressed air to spool up the turbo. What do you guys think?
