There is/was a relay under the dash of my 76 LUV behind the headlight pod. It has 2 wires going to it. Any idea what it goes to? It was melted and the wires had pulled out of it, found it when I pulled the dash...

Just a guess, the chasing richer circuit.

Also in that area is the blower motor relay, a/c relay, seat belt timer and relay.

Thanks, those will give a a chance to trace wires from now. What ever it is, it's not in the same location on my 74 parts truck...

The seatbelt light and buzzer never worked in that truck. Just a thought...

The truck never had a/c. The blower always worked properly....

Seat belt buzzer has two wires--red and black.
Cat converter overheat buzzer has two wires--yellow and green.

Didn't get a chance to trace the wires, but it looks like 2 green wires with stripes...

Agreed. Non-california truck = no cat overheat buzzer.
