I have a 79 Luv with a 2 bb electric carb on it. It was rebuilt recently but lately we can't keep the old thing running after it warms up. It chokes out and dies and then starts but wont fire back up. Also we can't figure out why the temp gauge doesn't read at all... I have no idea where it hooks up top the motor. Is it the carb? Please help!!!

Temp sensor is on the bottom of the intake manifold between the 2 front tubes

Is your choke functioning right? Closed when cold open when warm?
