I'm sure they have the color or can make it. My guy couldn't get it from DuPont so I just picked something I thought was close.

Everyone has a story with their trucks/cars, good story.

I took my G200 engine and G180 head to the machine shop to get it rebuilt. Got to take the cam on Monday, I was running late so I didn't dig it up. I want the internals balanced so he asked me to bring him the flywheel and clutch. Hopefully it turns out good.

I also put in the sound insulation and threw the carpet on top and it doesn't fit right. Anyone know of a company that makes one that fits like it should? I bought this one on the Internet. This one will need a lot of work to look ok.

While I did that I also installed the steering wheel.

I 'think' all of the carpets come from the same manufacturer. I modded my trans tunnel and expect some issues due to that. A GOOD upholstery shop can fit what youhave. They have to cut and seam it. You can use the 3M spray glue and start in the middle doing a section atl the time and stretch it to the ends and trim if you're patient. You have to let the glue set before you do the next section...

Here is a picture of the box that fits 4 8" jbl subs. Installed with a 1000w rms pioneer amp and a high output alternator and the little truck bumps!

That looks like it restricts movement of the seat all the way to the rear. Does it?

The seat slides back all the way without touching the subs/box. A lot of measuring went into the building of this box. I'm 6'3 and it would suck to not have the seat all the way back

Oh, very nice that it fits without having to put the seat forward. Thanks for sharing.

when you glue that carpet down, don't use just any old 3M spray glue. I always had good luck with 3M 8090. It is [was] made for securing vinyl tops. It has an adjustable spray tip to change the pattern for the appropriate job. Follow the instructions on the can and it will de-laminate plywood before pulling off of the surface..

I LUV seeing all your doing to this LUV.....Thanks for sharing your progress.

When i re-carpeted mine a few yrs back i found an good deal on a new old Chevy kit on eBay i think it was late 60's

impala. 66-68 it was preformed for the hump and i positioned the heal pad and trimmed off what hung out the doors

and only put a few self tapping screws near the edge of the hump to hold it in place along w/ my shift hole plate and side

metal pcs and used some black felt material for the floor to finish up to the back wall since its under the seal & saved the

other of 1/2 of carpet to hang on the back wall.....(which wasn't done in these pics).... Here's a couple pics of mine
