Check that it may be the output shaft seal- the yoke seal for the rear driveshaft or the flange seal for the front driveshaft. The rear seal can be changed without pulling the tranny & the outer half of a MSG t-case will unbolt from the side of the tranny while still in the truck. If you have to go the trouble and expense of pulling the tranny to rebuild this would be a good excuse to upgrade to 5sp.
