Parked my truck at work this morning and as I was walking towards it for lunch i noticed oil under the transfer case. Looks like I'm pulling the transmission and resealing it. Any suggestions while I'm in there? Also, does anyone know if I can get new synchros?

Thanks! -Nathan

Check that it may be the output shaft seal- the yoke seal for the rear driveshaft or the flange seal for the front driveshaft. The rear seal can be changed without pulling the tranny & the outer half of a MSG t-case will unbolt from the side of the tranny while still in the truck.
If you have to go the trouble and expense of pulling the tranny to rebuild this would be a good excuse to upgrade to 5sp.
