 Post subject: Door mirrors on my 78..

Both the drivers side and passenger side door mirrors are the "magnifying" type. It makes it difficult to use them for backing up, and got me to wondering... Was that stock? I don't remember that from my first 75 luv. But then again, I don't remember much from the 70's!

From the factory parts manual. The parts manual does not show left and right sides, the dealer brochures say a optional right mirror is available as a dealer add on.

Perfect. I spent $10 @ Amazon, on cheap plastic/chrome mirrors for my 75 and made sure they were rectangle so they would be close to original. But I failed to look at the book first.......now I see, from LUVRV8's pics, that I should have round ones. Oh well, I like the rectangle better anyway. 8)
