Hey guys I have been trying to find the info but haven't yet..
Anyone know if you can swap the hubs/spindles from a 2wd luv onto a 4x4?
My front axle is long gone so I just have sealed up 4x4 hubs and I would prefer 2wd so when I swap to an s10 rear I can get them redrilled to match the rear

I figure if the ball joints and the tie rod ends are the same they should change right over. I know where there is a 2wd here in town I can look closely at and pull parts from. I can check it out for you if you'd like! My luv us a 4wd so I can compare side by side. :)

I have the same situation.
I plugged the inside of the hubs and repaired the locks so they don't cause any issues.
But the front axle and all associated stuff is gone. Some people see the hubs and ask.
So I'd like to find and install 2WD on my 4x4.

So they seem to look very similar in various ways. The only thing that looked really different to me was the small link from the front of the frame rail to the lower control arm. I will get on a computer tomorrow and post a couple pics. Ball joints looked the same and so did the tie rod ends and the sway bar links. Just a little more comparing in the daylight and ill have an answer! Haha

You might want to look at the parts manual, most of your answers will be there.
