I have a 1980 Chevy luv it has a lowering block kit in the rear with 3" blocks.

My question is....
If I remove my 3" blocks and install 1.5" blocks. Does that mean my truck will go 1.5 inches lower than it already was?? Someone said it will go 1.5 inches higher even though the 1.5" block is obviously thinner than the 3" block.

If you remove the 3 inch blocks it will go back to the stock height.

If you replace the 3 inch blocks with 1.5 inch blocks, it will sit 1.5 inches lower than stock.

I want to have it 1.5 inches lower than it already is(it has a 3" block now)
So basically i would need a 4.5" block to LOWER it the 1.5 inches that i want right?
Meaning the TALLER the block, the LOWER the truck, and the THINNER the block, the TALLER the truck, and the closer it is to being to stock height correct?

Stock LUVs have the axel over the spring. To lower the rear end you would need a thicker block. With that said you will need blocks that add caster, blocks that have a wedge shape or your drive shaft may hit the cab.

Do you know where i can get those type of blocks? Seems like those would be the best choice, i really dont want to go to low where there's rubbing on the frame, or on the cab. Thanks for the help, i appreciate it.
