Does anyone know if there's a replacement sender for a '79 LUV? Maybe something from a Trooper or PUP?

If your talking about the gas gauge sender I haven't been able to find one. I ended up cleaning mine in lemon juice and it worked like a charm. That was about 2 years ago.

I think mine is starting to have the same issue. When I pulled and cleaned the gas tank a couple years ago the sender looked pretty ugly. Some of the copper windings were starting to look like they were about to fray. I'll be watching this thread haha

I pulled and cleaned mine with a brass brush and wd40 then coated the winding with dielectric grease.
