Hey guys iv got a stock luv with a old weber 32/36 from a old ford. The jetting seems right from what iv found online with other 1.8 motors with the weber. But the acc. pump seems to be dumping way to much gas into the motor. The acc pump has a 50 jet that only goes into the primary intake no outlet to the 2nd manifold.

They symposiums of the truck are it idles fine and seems to revv up fine when i slowly turn the throttle. but when I blip the throttle it falls on its face and dies... The pump seems to pump out gas all the time. With even the smallest throttle input (don't know if that's normal or not... I know with the hollys iv played with it only pumps with a big throttle input.) So i think I may have to large of a jet for the acc pump or maybe the action of the acc pump is wrong but something is amiss and I need help!

Thanks again guys!

Make sure the linkage is tight so that the acccelerator pump shoots right when you hit the gas.

And check the timing is 6 degrees without the vacuum line attached.
