I just finished removing 3" body lift pucks from my 79 4x4. Was there anything between the body and frame on a stock truck? Or just metal on metal? Thank you.

under the bed it pretty much sits on frame. mine has little rubber pads between bed and frame but they aren't doing much
my cab has dished plates with a rubber isolator in the middle that is maybe 3/8" thick that the mounting bolts go thru
the front by the radiator should have a couple big rubber isolators about 1 1/2" around and about the same tall that the bolts go thru but that aren't between the frame and body the bolts go thru the body, into the rubber and there is a washer on the other side of the rubber. you can see the big indents where they go belong on the front in case I explained them wrong.
