the only thing your going to find is a dash cap. you can get them pretty much anywhere if you actually look for one.

now, if you need a complete dash. there's only one company that makes replacement dashes. there in austrailia, still in the process of molding and fitting.

Actually there's another company here in the states...Dashboard Restorations. Theirs are only $650.00 for a black one and $700.00 for a colored one. Plus you have to send yours to them. What a bargain!

Um, Dashboard Restorations is in Australia, not the US and it is the link posted above. They have an office here but the work is done in OZ. Just trying to clear up some confusion.

from what i've always heard. you can't get the dash out in one piece. it's actually glued in there.

well i think a better idea would be to see if custom fiberglass is an option. I know people who do car custom stuff and have told me they could do a dash for my luv for around $100. Might be something to look at...

I have seen some "universal" fiberglass dashes in truck magazines before. If I remember correctly, you could get them in any color, and almost any width. They kinda look like 95-99 Mustang dashes, with the middle flowing down into a center console. I believe the ad was in MiniTruckin or Truckin', I read those mostly. I think they were around $300 or so. Which isn't too bad for a totally custom looking peice. It will look like you took the dash out of something else and made it fit. I think one would work with a luv, they listed them for toyotas, datsuns, ford rangers, and they had universals where you just requested a certain dimensions. You can also have them place gauge holes, or pods, anywhere. You could get them with or without glove boxes. You could put the HVAC vents anywhere you wanted. They really looked like a great idea.

Good luck

I had a friend who lived across the street from me who redid a luv. He made his own dash out of fiberglass. It looked just like the original.

I'll see if I can't look him up and see if he might be interested in making a few more.

That would be cool. Even if he doesn't want to make some you could see if he outline how he did it and post it, for those who wouldn't know where to begin...
