I'm stuck. My luv is having problems and I'm not sure what the deal is. My generator light is on and I checked what it's charging it and its only 12 volts, thays with a new alternator. The old one was charging at the same rate. It'll start and run temporarily but then die. I checked the fuses they are all fine. Any tips on what to do and look at would be greatly appreciated thanks.

When the alternator stops charging, the fuel pump stops and engine dies. Normal behavior. Yes possible voltage regulator failure. Temporaily unplug the regulator and engine should run.

Drivers side fender well, 2 10mm headed bolts holding it down with a bunch of wires coming out of it.

Be sure to do the fuse box fix if you have electrical gremlins.
