Has anyone tried ordering a replacement alternator lately? I have been trying for three weeks to get the right one! Ive tried with and with out AC. From my understanding no one can get the HITACHI version and only the mitsubishi one comes in now. I even ordered one from rock auto (which i get a bunch of my stuff from) ordered the one that said hitachi and showed pictures of my connections and ai get the mitsubishi one. The stock love harness doesn't hook up to it! Im going crazy! ITS AC Delco part 334-1567. Ive tried Orielys Napa and rock auto…..

ANyone know if this is something we have to deal with now or if theres a conversion plug?

Lastly i can not find the link that shows one wire conversion to a gm alt.. I think i would just do that then keep messing with this….

I don't know of a conversion plug. If you go to a one wire you have to change the fuel pump relay wiring. I have a used alt I think came from a 78 that you can have for shipping of you want. I can run to NAPA to see if it works. I worked before I parted out the truck.
