Been on the 'home stretch' of getting this truck on the road for a brutally long time. Each part takes about a week to come in and when you couple that with multiple wrong orders, things can get frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

Below is a picture of the original clutch. The two that I have ordered so far are too big! Anyone have any ideas?

P.S. I still am not positive what series I have...

Your picture shows an 8" clutch, '79 4x4s & all '76- '82 2wds had the 8" clutch, order one of those & you will be fine. The 4x4s from '80 on and the 2wds from '83 on had the 8.5" clutch, which uses a different flywheel. Your truck must have been built to '79 specs if the 8.5" clutch won't bolt up, check the build date on the door pillar.

So it actually turned out to be a 7 7/8" kit... Which is in there and working beautifully. The odd thing is, the guy at oreillys said it was listed for a 2wd model. Same thing for my calipers... Computer error or someone swapped out 2wd parts...? Thanks for the input!
